Its 16-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel uses a mid-length direct-impingement gas system for balanced handling and dependable cycling. The rifle features a Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 M-LOK handguard, pinned low-profile gas block, M16-profile bolt carrier group, GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, six-position receiver extension, and Daniel Defense stock and pistol grip with soft-touch overmolding. The factory barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a Daniel Defense flash suppressor. Sights are sold separately, while the receiver rail supports the addition of a chosen optic.
