The Radical Firearms FR-16 SOCOM is a 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around forged 7075-T6 aluminum MIL-STD upper and lower receivers. Its 16-inch Melonite-finished 4140 chrome moly vanadium SOCOM-profile barrel uses a mid-length gas system, a 1:7 twist rate, and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle fitted with an A2 flash hider. A 15-inch M-Lok free-float handguard provides a stable shooting interface and ample space for accessories. The flat-top upper receiver supports a wide range of optics, while the B5 Bravo six-position stock and B5 Type 23 pistol grip provide adjustable fit and practical handling.
