Its forged steel receiver incorporates an integral recoil lug, while the bedded action and free-floating barrel support consistent accuracy. A Grade IV/V fancy walnut stock with cut checkering, Shadowline cheekpiece, decorative steel cross bolt, and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad provides traditional styling and comfortable handling. The Winchester MOA Trigger System is factory set at 3.75 pounds and adjustable from 3 to 5 pounds. A three-position safety and Pre-64 style controlled round feed with claw extractor complete this purpose-built hunting rifle.
