Its cold hammer-forged barrel features a hard-chrome-plated bore and chamber for durability and corrosion resistance. The reinforced under-folding stock reduces the rifle's overall length from 35 inches to 25 inches when folded, making storage and transport more convenient. Chambered in 7.62x39mm, the rifle accepts standard mil-spec AK magazines and combines original Bulgarian components with U.S.-made furniture for a 922(r)-compliant configuration.
