The Charter Arms .40 Pitbull turned the difficulty of rimless loading and ejection into the simplicity of the rimmed cartridge. The .40 Pitbull is designed after the .44 Bulldog, with a slightly shorter barrel and a unique design addition. A dual-coil spring assembly in the extractor allows for insertion and retention of a .40 caliber cartridge in each cylinder chamber – no moon clips required. This patented system makes ejecting spent cartridges an easy task. The Pitbull’s 2.3-inch barrel and 20 ounces make this a lightweight powerhouse also. It has a 416 Stainless Steel frame with a matte finish and a soft black rubber grip to make shooting comfortable. The small frame, fixed sights and tremendous stopping power make the Pitbull an ultimate carry gun.
