Plain version up front: firearms transferred to your FFL cannot be returned. Accessories, parts, and unopened ammunition have a 30-day return window. Below is the long version with the specific cases we hit.
Firearms (transferred)
Once a firearm has been transferred to you through the receiving FFL on the Form 4473, federal recordkeeping makes a “return for credit” effectively impossible. The firearm now belongs to you in ATF records. Defects are handled under the manufacturer’s warranty — open a warranty claim with the manufacturer and we’ll help with documentation.
Firearms (pre-transfer / failed background check)
If you fail the NICS check at the receiving FFL, the firearm doesn’t transfer. We arrange return shipping and refund the purchase price minus the original outbound shipping and a 10% restocking fee. The receiving FFL may also charge a transfer-attempt fee — that’s between you and them.
NFA items
Same rule as firearms — once the Form 4 transfer is approved and the item moves into your name, it’s not returnable through us. Pre-approval cancellation: we’ll refund the purchase price minus the $200 tax stamp (already paid to ATF) and a 10% restocking fee.
Accessories & parts
30-day return window from delivery. Item must be unused, in original packaging, and saleable. Email [email protected] for an RMA. Customer pays return shipping. Once we receive and inspect, refund hits the original payment method within 5 business days.
Ammunition
Unopened factory-sealed ammunition: 30-day window, customer pays hazmat return shipping. Once a box is opened, it’s not returnable for safety reasons (we can’t resell what’s been handled).
Used / surplus items
Sold as-is. We grade and photograph honestly so what you see is what you get. The only exception: if the item is materially different from the description, send pictures within 7 days and we’ll work it out — usually a partial refund or a return at our cost.
How to start a return
- Email [email protected] with the order number and what’s coming back.
- We send you an RMA number and the return address.
- Ship it back insured. Hold the tracking number.
- Refund hits your original payment method within 5 business days of receipt and inspection.
